Percentage Pass Rate..?
What does it mean?
It's very easy for any driving school to display a percentage pass rate - but is this rate precise and can they guarantee you will pass your driving test.
No one can guarantee this but at "Driving's Cool" we can guarantee that all our instructors will instruct you to the best of our ability to ensure that every aspect is covered to help you become a confident, respectful and knowledgeable driver.
We can assure you that all of our clients pass their test when they learn from our proven technique.
This is down to two things, Our Successful teaching method and the most important thing: YOU!
Starting Off..!
Finding a good driving instructor can be difficult sometimes, as a driving instructor must portray the following qualities:
First of all, the most important quality of any instructor is to have the ability to communicate effectively. The instructor must be friendly and have the ability to help you feel relaxed during your lesson or pre-test. A lot of our clients commend us for our patience, but it's not that we are patient, it;s due to the fact that we love our job and we "want" to teach you to drive and succeed.
Excellent knowledge and experience of the technique of driving is required by every good instructor. A good instructor can teach anyone to drive, no matter how difficult the task is.
A good instructor will always praise you in the areas you are succeeding in and point out the areas requiring attention.
Driving's Cool instructors base our lessons on being honest and informative with clients, so that you the client will always know and understand how far you are progressing with each lesson.
A good instructor will always be patient with you, we are here to help you and want you to enjoy your time with us in a relaxed environment. Our instructors have a million different ways of explaining queries you might have. During a lesson or pre-test it can be difficult to drive and listen to instruction and we understand this. We welcome nervous drivers, assuring you and showing you how easy it is to drive, with the best possible instructor.
Your instructor will always make sure you understand what they are saying during your lesson and when later parked, they will ask if you have any questions.
Some of our clients come to us from other driving schools where they felt their previous instructor did not listen to them. You will only ever have to say something once to us whatever your concern is. We are normal people, and if you feel nervous, tell us and we will just have a chat before starting off. We have a million ways to get you started. You will be driving before you know it!!
At Driving's Cool we will work with you at whatever pace is comfortable. There is no such thing as a slow or fast learner so don't feel pressured. We want you to breathe, relax, enjoy and learn from your time with us.
Pay Attention
Being a driving school we are, in fact, a school and being paid to teach. We want all our clients to get the most out of every lesson and reach their full potential. At the end of every lesson your instructor or teacher, will give you your "home work" in which to study or practice at home until your next lesson. If you don't have time to practice that's ok, but if you have managed to practice that's great. Your instructor will see you have practised and will move on to the next subject. The more you practice the better you get, the more you practice the less lessons you take and thus less money you spend..!

Meeting
In meeting a Driving's Cool Instructor we want you to imagine us a long term friends and that we have already met before our first lesson. We want you to be as relaxed and as comfortable as you can, so always wear what you are comfortable in and foot wear that is most appropriate for driving.
Phoning to organise your lesson or pre-test we will have organised with you an area in which to meet you, a test centre or at your home. We don't charge any extra to collect from your home, and the hour starts from the moment you get into the driving seat!!
We always try and advise everyone to come out for an hour an a half the first time as to get as much done the first lesson as we can. The more we give you, the more value you get, and we feel that the first hour and a half is the most crucial time when learning to drive, or perfecting your driving technique for the test.
If you are using our car please remember to bring your provisional driving licence. If using your own car, the same applies as-well as ensuring that displayed on your car are current insurance, tax, and NCT discs. Payment in Bankers draft, cheque, postal order or Cash is acceptable. We will always issue you with a receipt upon request.
